First of the "holiday" fics. Hopefully there will be more. This does come out of a meme suggestion that mitsuhachi made, but I think it might appeal to others.
Title: The Junkie Slip* 'Verse: London Calling Characters: Gabranth/Shinjiro Rating: Really NSFW A Lot Length: 5500 Warnings: Drug issues, figging, bondage Summary: Things might be getting better. Shinjiro's still trying to deal with it all, and it's always the same problem, but Gabranth suggests a different way of dealing with it. Indulge me, dear flist. (My willpower held out almost 24 hours between thinking up this meme and saying I had no time for it and the predictable dissolution of said willpower.)
I want an excuse to d(r)abble in the new playground that's destroying my life. So, if anyone wants in on it:
Your Mission: Give me a character from either Persona 3* or FFXII and lyrics or a phrase from The Clash as a prompt. I'd love it if you also listed the track name, too, just in case there's a song I haven't memorized (and I am sure that there is).
Your reward: 100 words** of backstory/set-up/vignette that will help me settle who's doing what where. While I can't guarantee everyone in both verses will be a major player in the backbone of the plot, I am very happily willing to put anyone into this universe in this exercise.
*I totally suck. I'm not to Ryoji yet, so he's kind of out of the running for now. (Think September-ish, perhaps?)
**No, seriously, 100 words. I can do this. Really.

Finally finished this. Finished something.
It was originally just a one-off birthed of a little comment thread from laylah's journal, whereupon it was decided that it would be pretty damn cool to see Akihiko as a bare-knuckle boxer, a la Mickey from Snatch. And then there was discussion of tattoos, and finally they ended up in a caravan tucked into some little pocket of Edinburgh.
Anyway.
Title: Ink 'Verse: London Calling AU Pairing: Shinjiro/Akihiko Length: 3800 Rating: Not Quite Safe For Work (but no proper smut, either) Notes: Canon, predictably, is very loose here. Also: Edinburgh, not London. Despite 'verse titling. Notes Additional: Many thanks to laylah, for encouraging.
